Aston Villa (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

The premier league, the other 19 clubs, the media all want a new name on the trophy and I think the fuckers may succeed this season, however if we blues could just dream a little and see a fit again KDB lifting ol big ears @ Wembley and retain that trophy, we the fans and the club will have the biggest last laugh this century.

We need to go back to basics. There are teams playing "Peps Way" way better than we and there are too many players getting caught or making the wrong choices.

It'd been glorious to watch, but we don't have the personal to pull it off at the moment.

Let's trying something different; like knocking it long and picking up 2nd ball, actually trying to play Haaland through when he's made his umpteenth run behind the line and crossing the fucking ball instead of turning back (that was so frustrating by Kova in the last minute)

Not "Peps Way" but at least we'll become less predictable.

Full faith we'll turn this around, but some resetting and tactical thought are needed.

CTID.

Basically this was biggest betting of the year as Villa 7/2 to beat us at home which was an absolute steal .

From a posistion of strength we have weakened. How ever we are still good enough Pep will find a system that works.Gundo,Mahrez both wanted to go so thats that.Walker should have been allowed to leave.Nunes,Kovacic not good enough. The rest have not become bad overnight and the form will return. The big problem is the ready made excuse if Rodri is missing we dont win others need to step up especially Foden.Keep the faith!

Quote from Pep last night: “We said something at half-time and it was much better, the team had another dynamic but we didn’t find the players to make the assist, the cross, the pass.”

I can remember a decent 5 minutes after the restart but wouldn’t describe it as “much better”.

And not only could we not pass, we couldn’t fucking tackle or shoot either.

Couldn’t find players to make a pass sums it up nicely.

And Pep said he'd fuck off if he saw that in these players
There wasn't any lack of commitment v Spurs . We dominated them. We are not far off it. But when you lose Rodri to suspension you lose a great player. We will bounce back Sunday afternoon
