Aston Villa (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

And yet we only lost 2-1 with Foden getting that last minute consolation where apparantely it looked like the players have completely threw in the towel.
Not sure what your point is here...we were way off the pace this match & 2-1 flattered us. Our only goal was slightly fortunate in that it bounced off the Villa player.

They're knackered. Playing with knocks. Playing with injuries. They can't be rested because of others injured.

We're also missing the best player in the world.

If you want Pep out then fine. I don't.

I don't want Pep out.
The questions are down to Pep and his setup and the small squad and having to play them every week
We used to have a great bench and 2nd 11 and it won us the league cup for 4 seasons so why did it change

Also, the questions will bite you on the bum when things are not going your way, Left back problems, Right back problems, Hold midfield replacements, 2nd striker

All the things we have dodged and got lucky with over the years have come back to bite us hard

The other point is this. If some of these players have now bailed out, it's unlikely they'd be all in under a new manager. I'd back Pep before virtually all of them at the moment. I'm totally pissed off at the absolute lack of fight and desire at the moment, it's fucking pathetic and needs calling out. This shit shield of the past few seasons achievements won't last forever.
Khaldoon will not be asking the players about Pep....proposterous !!

Probably one of the reasons Pep doesn’t play the kids.
They’d get crucified by our fans, just like Rico is.
He’s young and inexperienced and he should low down on the finger pointing.
Has he been good recently?
No not really but he’s been no worse than anyone else.
It carries on and he’ll probably end up leaving and then we can start enough thread about how we shouldn’t have sold him.
Haaland is stinking the place out on the pitch , Jack is “I’ve become a dad me “. Any **** can make a baby Jack , how about being a dad on the pitch instead of a woman, and people give Rico shit.

I see loads of posts saying Pep should do this and Pep should do that.
Injuries, the players are tired etc..
How about the players show some fight, heart and desire.
We aren’t even doing the basics of football right now.
Experienced players on high wages that should be doing more, a lot more than they currently are.

Footballs moved on , Peps way has been sussed , but he keeps at it even tho he sees it’s failing.
At the same time we haven’t refreshed 3/4 players past their best , culminating with Rodris injury and here we are.
Problem is at the moment we're not seeing Peps way, maybe only bits of it. The players aren't doing the bits we are seeing in any way, shape or form like they have in the past. The end result is this weekly fiasco.
