Aston Villa (A) | Post-Match Thread

Feels like a huge win. Came from behind, played for 50 odd minutes with 10 men and never looked under pressure once Cash was sent off. I think 2 wins will do it

Very much this. Foden was world class, and gave the villa lad a torrid time, and then sent off. What was Stones thinking? 2-1 up, nearly half time, little danger, and wipes out a villa player going nowhere.
Stones isn't the only one. It was just his turn tonight to have the brainfart. We haven't got a single defender from the back four and Eddie who can't come out with summat similar where the simple, thoughtful option is avoided.

Walker getting a lot of flak on the match thread as usual but him Foden and Bernie are the engine in this team. Without those three the we just don't move fast enough and are somewhat easy to defend against. Get in City, another title in the making.

Apart from one really overhit cross I thought Walker played well tonight.

We were the better team for 22 seconds ; )
After that start and the red.
A good professional performance.
The above doesn't matter, only thing that does, 3 points.

Sky love in with all things City and Phil Foden post match.
Weird!
But good!
(for a change :-)

Foden was unplayable. Dragged us back into it, lead by example and utterly tormented Cash which resulted in the evening up of the numbers. What a player.
