Cancelo and Mendy have the potential to be the best pair of wingbacks in the PL if the former can adapt to the league/system and the latter is back to full fitness.

No real arguments with that, sterling deservedly benched for a few games and sane’s return on the horizon should give sterling the kick up the arse he needs. Disappointing to see Garcia has dropped from the squad entirely, think he has to be ahead of otamendi and probably stones too right not, should at least be making the bench.

Be interesting to see how Pep sets us up here and whether it changes during the game depending on how it’s going. that’s an incredibly fluid team we could go back to our 4-3-3 standard with Rodri sitting behind silva and Kdb and mahrez and Jesus on the flanks either aide of Aguero or with a simple signal we could easily play the back 5, a midfield of silva and Kdb with mahrez in behind 2 central strikers. I like the options, adds a bit of unpredictability to us just when we were starting to be a bit obvious. If we play well they won’t have a clue how to deal with us.
