We can all find one instance of a player being "walked past" in 95 minutes , did you see Merlin lose the ball in the centre circle in the 2nd half and make no effort to retrieve it ? The one incident doesnt make Merlin weak , Gundogan had a superb game again , i can understand posters having their favourites and the players they choose to dislike before they have even kicked a ball , but highlighting ONE incident in ninety-odd minutes to judge a players performance is harsh to say the least.
He’s slow, not very strong and can’t run back. That is a concern, in my opinion, particularly coming up against Liverpool. That’s not to say he doesn’t have other strengths
Agreed. I lived there for a while. Villa are queens who the Birmingham fascists chased around town. Wolves are gobshites overall. West Brom are sound as a pound.Villa fans are the rags of the Midlands, B'ham have long had a nasty crowd and the ground is a dump, best club round there is West Brom.
My beagle’s feces is better than Henderson, as although they both stink, at least it’s solid on the field after the new year and knows how to ****ing pass.My labrador is better than Henderson
So you weren't there, but its OK for you to criticise those that were there, brilliant, how did you add to the atmosphere ?Wasn't at the game today but from what I saw on TV and have heard from others, the atmosphere was shite once again.
Relatively decent performance I thought today. Really wasteful in the first half, but even that was an improvement on the wolves game as at least we were creating chances. Early second half goal helped ease the nerves and from then on it were all city. How good was Phil when he came on? Fit right in, looked comfortable on the ball, confident in his decision making and overall looked superb in the 15 minutes he got. Can't be long surely till he starts a PL game this season?
Wasn't at the game today but from what I saw on TV and have heard from others, the atmosphere was shite once again. The team could really do with that extra boost when we're struggling to find a goal, can't only be when we face a top 6 opposition. Something really needs to be done about that imo.
Overall a decent bit of football. The countdown to Anfield begins...
Thought the Villa fans might have learnt a bit of humility in the championship, alas no, still c**ts.
