Aston Villa (H) Post-Match Thread

BT a joke now talking about the second goal for over 5 minutes and saying it should be disallowed. If there is a touch by Silva, it is barely visible and certainly not conclusive and hardly affected the outcome of the ball travelling into the net. In the spirit of the game a perfectly good goal. It did not affect the result either.

So please Jake Humphreys give it a rest.

I'll tell you what struck me about that goal that they're debating so much is how much under a microscope it was.. Looked at from every single angle looking for offside looking for handball looking for pigeons on the pitch whatever it was that they could cancel it for..... Seemed obvious to me from the 3rd replay what it was. It really bugged me how long they liked at it

Villa's next league game is the dippers at home - it will be interesting to see how they do.

Jake ****phreys: “Well, well, well, with De Bruyne’s admission that David Silva touched the ball you could argue that goal should not stand and it changed the course of the game.”

Well, well, well... what an arse.

I had to double check he wasn’t a United fan? Norwich fan apparently. Stupid statements and I’m a Villa fan

Thought the same

However really stupid from Ferna and completely unnecessary

Think it will only be a one game ban as its two yellows and not a straight red.

On the other point - you can see why fans are tempted to jump on the pith and punch Grelish (Though of course I would never condemn such actions) - he is a horrible little shit and you can tell by his reactions to decisions he is full of himself and entitled as well. He cannt hold a a candle to Foden when it comes to ability

Grealish was great today how he cannot get in the England side is beyond me
