I didn’t hear of any players being rested by Gerrard, he said it might not be the same team in both which isn’t surprising. I’m sure he said he thinks Martinez will play.

Why the panic about what team Slippy will field against Burnley?
We're fortunate just in the fact that that they have a game at all on Thursday.
Normally at this stage of the season this wouldn't be the case so it's a bonus for us and yes he will rotate but he won't play a weak side vs Burnley.

I don't usually consider this forum to have any influence whatsoever on what actually goes on out on the pitch.
But all the players from the QPR match (and the journalists who were present) said that they could feel the tension and nervousness filtering down from the stands. It is quite worrying to see a fair amount of posters already looking round for excuses as why Liverpool will be champions. Of course, this forum may equally not be at all representative of the atmosphere in the stands, although there's no reason to assume that.
If you're in the stadium on Sunday, please set that aside and believe. Pep has explicitly called on us to do our part. Let's create a roar. We did it against Real and the rags. This is far more important than either of those matches.

It's OK they won't be there, they'll all be venting their spleens in the matchday thread ;-)

Just failed to avoid the avenues ‘resident dipper’, he seemed keen to chat. He’s never actually been to Anfield but he did once go down the Rainford Bypass so considers himself a true fan! I honestly did try and be pleasant and not be rude and/or sarcastic but the minute he opened with “Gonna be interesting Sunday, you playing against Stevie” it started to go downhill rapidly. I had to point out we weren’t going to be up against Gerrard but all of Jack’s former team mates and, as for the quadruple, Madrid might just have some say in that. Quelle surprise, he thinks they’ll win it on penalties!!
