What’s a good result for tomorrow’s Villa match. Other than the hope that key players are selected and pick up knocks will the result make any difference to Sunday?

I think we all know that the ultimate aim for Gerrard is to become the Liverpool manager and he probably thinks that his chances will be enhanced if he can help the dippers to become champions. However, like you highlighted in your post, we are much stronger than them physically and mentally. So let’s use that advantage and piss on his chips.

We do need to go at them from the start and I am sure that they will crumble.

Just need to tighten up at the back and make sure that the rest get back to protect and assist them if necessary.

We need to get behind the lads and create a great atmosphere from the moment they come on to the pitch.

Agree to some extent, but as they say “blood is thicker than water”. Villa will not finish any lower in the league now, so the only they may miss out on is the potential increase in prize money for moving up a few places.
