We are where we are because:
- Mahrez didn't score the pen on Sunday
- We didn't beat Liverpool when we were on top (I'm not going to blame Mahrez but he should have buried that chance at the end)
- We lost twice to Spurs (yes, Spurs!)
- We lost to Palace at home
- We couldn't beat Southampton

None of that is the PLs fault. We could have had the league wrapped up weeks ago but we haven't so we have to suffer on Sunday as a result, although hopefully not at the end.
Ok so we missed a pen and lost 3 games, that excuses any shitness, corruption and incompetence from the PL and PIGMOL, joker. Mahrez missed a pen so Anthony Taylor isn’t s cheating rag ****, that’s fucking logical. You do not think it’s strange that the dippers have gone nearly 50 games without a pen against them in the PL, more than twice the previous record in the entire history of the PL? You don’t think it’s strange they don’t get investigated for hacking our scouting database? You don’t think it’s strange they have 70% asthmatics and don’t get investigated for drugs cheating? You think it’s ok for the PL chief to say it’s really good for the league when the dippers and rags win it? But that’s all ok because Mahrez missed a pen and we didn’t beat palace. Fucking hell

Not to mention Liverpool's mini break earlier in the season due to 'false' positive Covid tests. That all went very quiet as well...

We are where we are because:
undefeated v Liverpool
Won home and away against Chelsea
Smashed 5 past arsenal at home
Beat resurgent arsenal away
Blitzed United home and away
Put six past Leicester
Put seven past Leeds
Racked up more points than every single other club in the league
Scored more goals than every single club in the league
Best goal difference of every single club in the league
THAT’S why we are where we are.

Let's hope at six on Sunday all that will be enough.

I expect Southampton turn up for their last home game of the season and in front of a huge television audience. Whether they will be good enough is debatable. If they can turn their form round and play nearly as well as they did against City they have a chance.

I haven’t been following them enough to know why their form has deteriorated. Have they got injuries or just going through a bad run, which they seem prone to?
Southampton are utterly shite under Hassenhutl for 25 games each year. They have a purple patch and win 4-5 games on the bounce to pull clear of the relegation zone by March, then go on holiday until the start of the next season.

We tend to play them near their purple patch, whereas they get hammered each time they play Liverpool.

The only thing in their favour tonight is that they are well rested and the dippers aren’t.

I am going 2-1 dippers.

I am going 2-1 dippers.
I’ll probably watch it, but I’m not that arsed to be honest.

The atmosphere on Sunday will be better if there’s something on it, but it increases the chances of us not winning it.

If we can’t beat Villa at home though, we probably don’t deserve the title.
