This will be my last game getting to much for me now . First game attended at Maine Road in 47/48 and been a regular at games since 1958. Boy will I miss it. So City don't blow this one for me.

I’ll qualify this by saying I’d never swap them, but I guess a large part of the explanation of this is that Alisson is very good in the 1 on 1 whilst Eddie is not

We should get a good indication of how "on the beach" Villa are tonight against Burnley.

Villa not playing tonight but won’t be on the beach on Thursday or Sunday. Slippy wants them to finish as high as possible in the league and they could get in the top 10. Some players will be playing for their futures and the prize money gets higher if they move up, so just can’t see it.

If the PL wanted this, why did VAR give us a penalty in the last few minutes at West Ham? Mahrez tucks that away and their last day showdown is virtually up the swanny

I would say they gave it because they had no option, it was a clear penalty with no room for interpretation, unlike the Gabby one which was perhaps 50/50.

If you don't give that penalty the the accusations of bias would have rock solid evidence.

Just my opinion of course.

That is quite something. Were City still letting United play at Maine Road at that point, or had Old Trafford been rebuilt?

True, except that their second was not really a one-on-one. Ed should definitely have done better on that — even if he was unsighted by Fern.
