Nobody is expecting to lose, they're just fearful we could.
I’m not sure about that but even if it were true how does it help the fan or the players?

What happens if we lose do we die? Do we have to suppport another club? Cityitis and Typical City are terms invented by the press and adopted by the fan base. It’s an excuse for explaining away defeat and being afraid. We might be known for it but it’s nothing to be proud of and imho it’s time it changed.

Chelsea went into the last day one point ahead in 09/10 season and that turned out alright against Wigan 8:0.
Thank fxck it's villa not Wigan..
Checked it out on YouTube and found it quite calming and thoughts turned to it being us on Sunday, fxck Liverpool nothing they can do to stop us.

Certainly nerves matter. Also keep in mind that this is, ultimately, a championship match. And emotions play a huge part in it. We need to manage our emotions and play our game. We stay composed, we be patient, and we control the ball. Yes, there is some urgency but that shouldn't put us off. We get a goal, Villa may open up and try and get one. If they do, then gradually the game comes more to us. If we put two past them, then I think we rout them.

As far as lineup goes, look, its the last day. If Ake and Walker are even close to fitness or can give us 45 - they play. No question about it at all. The only question is who plays on the right. I would say give it to Mahrez because I think he will play with greater urgency. He's got some "making up" to do. But Ederson, Rodri, Cancelo, Laporte, KDB, Foden, Bernardo and Gabby are all must starts in my opinion. And if Ake and Walker are fit, play them. We got this people. Its nervy, no doubt. But we got this. We'll be poppin bottles when its over.

Ederson
Walker (if fit), Ake, Laporte, Zinchenko
Rodri
Bernardo, Gundogan
Sterling, De Bruyne, Foden

That is my team Foden and Sterling are well balanced and it means they play in their correct positions and Villa are clumsy at the back so run at them with pace, they also offer the best cover defensively. That midfield has control and Kev in the false position is a no brainier at the moment add to that, provided they can walk down the tunnel both Kyle and Nathan start.

Villa are 14/1 to beat us, or 6/1 to draw. Wolves are in awful form so not expecting any favours, but we’re in the driving seat here. Come on City! Can’t wait for all the nerves to be over and have a piss up.
