Liverpool play Southampton in mid-week which could obviously change the situation in this game.

For now this game just became a lot bigger, a proper cup final that we now have to win to be sure.

Injuries at the back are causing us a lot of problems.

We looked tired today but still worried West Ham. With a week's rest we will terrorise Villa and retain the league. And I'll be at the game and not in the match day fred amongst 200+ nutters; )

With another weeks rest surely Ake is able to play this? We can't have Dinho at the back in a must win game.

One bonus for us is they have a game on Thursday against Burnley so they'll only have two days rest before the game. But then again I could see Gerrard playing the kids for that so his team are fully rested to try and stop us winning the title.

It's gonna be an unbearable watch.

The week’s rest is huge for us especially as Villa play Thursday -a week to get Ake fit hopefully.

Antonio caused the patched up defence problems today and they’re going to face similar in Watkins next week

We've given Liverpool hope now so there's no way they won't beat Southampton.

Really hope Ake can start instead of Fernandinho.

Zinchenko is a worry but unless Walker makes a miraculous recovery then we have no other choice.

Foden simply has to start over Grealish.

Fern simply cant play. i love him, but he's no longer a viable option for this one.

Villa have a pretty gruelling match against a relegation threatened burnley on thursday, so heres hoping that drains their energy levels, or they pick up a couple of injuries.

We'll be fully rested, and with a buoyant crowd behind us, really should be picking up 3 points!
