Vote for who you like and if its not Foden then you have shit for brains .Just got home and I'm gobsmacked what a genius we have OMG I'm not gay but I fucking love him he's just as good as Lakey fucking WOW what a perfomance ,I can't sleep I'm still buzzing
He's better than Lake. He's the best player we've ever produced.

I'm going for Grealish

Yes, I know Phil scored a hattrick and Rodri ran the midfield but Grealish looked like the player he was last season.

The villa boos seemed to get quieter and quieter as the game went on as they slowly realised he wasn't arsed!

Great performance by all

If we win the league from here, I think it will be our biggest achievement.

obviously Phil but honourable mention to Gvardiol, Doku also much more effective than from the left

Phil was electric but had to go with Rodri. Guy is fucking unplayable right now and is the best midfielder itw currently.
I wonder if we could bring in another 6 to free up Rodri to roam around the pitch more.

Definitely see the case to give Phil the MOTM too, am fine with either. Honourable mention to Gvardiol, what a run he's having as of late. Going to be a cornerstone of our defense for years to come.

Phil was superb, so was Rodri and Gvardiol. Special mention to Ortega, who also played excellent.

You generally have to give it to the hattrick man.

Rodri was superb too, as always. He pretty much gets overlooked in these polls because he's consistently so good that it's taken for granted in a way. You could make a case for him winning it nearly every week. Most players standout performances are just another game for Rodders.

Gvardiol was excellent too.

I see Bernardo’s only got one vote, and that’s from a certain Eccles Blue. I suppose that’s what happens if you call your dog John?
*lol* I didn't know that about his dog but I voted for Bernie because he's everywhere, he's like a marathon runner but not in a straight line. He's on the left, he's on the right, he's down the middle. :-)

I'll own up - it was me who voted for Ortega. Superb again and we might only have drawn but for his brilliance.
What a reserve keeper!
He was a very very close second for me. Some of his saves were quite outstanding. Could easily have been a different result.

Voted for Rico.

A kid playing in arguably the most challenging position on the field...superb last night.

That lanky streak tried to bully him, but he just got up and carried on.

Outstanding last night young man.

Also, another big shout out to Gvardiol. Doubled up on his brilliant performance on Sunday.

There aren't many players anywhere equally adept using both feet, so to have a fullback like him is unique.

Becoming more used to the Premier League.

Until Golden's 3rd went in, the motm award was there for at least four other players.
Akanji, who's positioning and timing was superb as well as his decision making and strength in the tackle.
Doku, who scared the shit out of Villa with his lightning speed, drive and work rate
Rico was top of my list at 3-1. Rock solid, all over the place and snapping into Villa at every opportunity from start to finish.
Gvardiol had, once again, his best game in a City shirt.

But when Walter decided to turn it on he was unstoppable. Three goals, brilliant link-up and sublime movement. The extra strength he now has is the final piece in his jigsaw.

What a game the kid had.

I'm going to be controversial and give it to Gvardiol. Obviously Phil gets it if I am being serious but I thought Gvardiol was immense, doing great work winning the ball back, making key tackles and blocks and just generally being excellent.

Rodri too, but he's always amazing isn't he.
