As a BHAFC fan, this really pisses me off. Villa and Everton fans seem to think that Potter would just walk out on us ans go to them becauae they both see themself as bigger clubs.

Yes both have a bigger fan base but they live on past glory. To me its what is relevent now. Huddersfield and Portsmouth have won more than us should i be worried if they sack their managers in case they want Potter?

I would hope Potter realises hes onto a good thing with us, Villa fans bringing up about 30 of our fans booing potter as if it our own fan base that done it, then booing there own team after another defeat and planning who who will replace him when hes only been at Villa kess than a year.

Can i finally end with a thank you for letting Palace go 2 nil up yesterday, for nearly 5 min we were top of the Premier League.

Deluded, as are the blues blowing smoke up your ring.

Potter would be off to either of them if they came in for him.

Especially if they sweetened it slightly with a bit extra in his wages.

Both undoubtedly perceived as bigger clubs, more wedge to spend etc, more status for the manager.

He’d need a move like that as the next stepping stone towards somewhere like Arsenal, which is a level he isn’t ready for just yet.

They've won the European Cup you know.

Why would he need to go to a Villa or Everton to prove how good a manager he is. I dont get the more status as a manager at those 2 clubs.

Surley because both have possible bigger fan base you are saying thats the criteria needed for a top 6 side.
Why go to 2 basket case clubs, when he has everything at a well run club. Yes they could offer more money but as Potter has said money is not his driving force. Look f

I think if either of those 2 clubs came in for Potter he would be off like a shot.

He wouldn’t be going to prove he’s a good manager. We can all see he is.

He’d be going there as they’re both bigger clubs with more status.

But the discussion is academic as he doesn’t have any offers from them as far as I know.

I would like to think his next club is a top 6 club. Keep him away from the England job.
I'd like him to stay where he is. Do it with Brighton - break the mould and stay where you're loved. Get them in the top 4 - it's do-able. They already play the best football in the Premier League after City.
And, as he's British, he will be voted manager of the season without actually winning anything. If he goes to a "top team" he makes a rod for his own back immediately. He's going to be offered the England job without a shadow of doubt, imho, so stay at Brighton and just wait for that to come up.
