Disagree about Yaya. He's making an effort and with the quality he has, it's only a matter of time before it comes together.

I wish City fans would get off his case.

I'd go with Aguero too

Completely agree. Push him up into the hole and leave the two Fs to do the defensive duties. Given freedom just to attack he'll do his bit.
Why get of his case? He's fecking sh*te at the moment and WE ALL KNOW he can be the best. Time to let him know that he is playing shite by dropping him.
Started slowly, but I think he's making a big effort at the moment. I know a lot think differently, but that doesn't make them right. He was taking responsibility against Roma, and mad several attempts to break through but they came to nothing.

I'd like to see something like that. Aguero playing of Dzeko with Silva drifting behind them both but providing width when possible. Yaya playmaking and running from deep with the Fern's behind, Dinho coming forward occasionally. Kolarov on to provide an attacking threat which Clichy cannot provide.

Maybe could see Milner on if Fernando isn't fully fit or Pelle decides to drop Yaya

That's the personnel that I would choose. Obviously the formation is flexible but effectively Fernando staying between the centre halves with the fullbacks providing the width.

Dzeko is our in form striker , he holds the ball up , and his general all round play has been superb this season , definite starter for me against villa.
A complete mystery why Pellegrini subbed him in midweek. He was our best player

His first half against Roma was truly excellent.
Still very much under rated for some reason but one hell of a player!

Oh - I forgot 3-1 City.

Hart
Zabaleta Kompany Mangala Kolarov
Fernando Dinho
Navas Lampard Silva
Dzeko

Willy, Clichy, Demichelis, Yaya, Milner, Jovetic, Aguero

It is what it is.. But really feel Toure has a clause somewhere he can't be subbed.. ... And when logic dictated that he should be subbed... Dzeko was promptly substituted instead.. So Toure isn't upset..

Now that everyone is fit we need to start playing our 'CL' team in every prem game to 'ready' us for the CL games.

Therefore:

Hart

Zabaleta
Kompany
Mangala
Kolarov

Fernando
Fernandinho
Toure
Silva
Milner / jovetic / navas

Aguero

We need to get this set up spot on.

hart

zabba-kompany-mangala-kolarov

fernando-yaya-fernandinho

silva-aguero-jovetic

to good of a team to not beat villa 3-1 win
