Our charity shield win was there as was the '81 semi final win. I've been to Villa Park more times than any other ground
apart from City's and it's always been a good day out. Even when we weren't so good, we haven't done bad there, generally.
That normally fills me with foreboding, but we got our bad luck game out of the way last season

I think its fair to say, the sunrise normally fills you with foreboding.

One of the worst defeats last year. Offside goal and a defensive howler gave them 3 points they never deserved on the day. I hoope the result will reflect reality a bit more this time and that will hand us 3p because I expect us to be better than Villa. And we still owe Roy Keane whenever we are able to come up against this muppet.

And some of us on here could do with a mental lift, because some of the comments on here after the Roma game are quite appauling to say the least.

A strong performance at Villa and good win and people will move on quickly. We owe them after last seasons mare so i fully expect us to do the business tomorrow. 3-1 City and were all hopefully feeling a bit better about things.

Why? Is the landlord DLT?

Pelle not turned up for the Presser so far....over half an hour late according to BBC

Expecting to read the wise words of Manuel Pellegrini? So were we. But it appears the Manchester City boss has been held up as we wait for him to start his pre-match news conference. Perhaps he's still wolfing down his soup and sandwich after training.
Or perhaps he wants to steal the thunder from his great rival Jose Mourinho? The Chelsea boss is expected, providing he turns up on time, to face the media in the next few minutes.
