Cagliari say Radja Nainggolan will cost any interested buyer over €15m, while they’ve also provided updates on the futures of Michael Agazzi and Davide Astori.

The Belgium international has been linked with Roma and Inter, as well as a number of foreign sides.

i have no doubt pepe is better than astori but lets look at us we have the best defense in the league we lost the title last year because of the midfield laziness but kolo has left and there is a vacancy for a right sided ch that cant be filled by what we have. a ch best years come from 27 to 32 usually and pepe falls into that he has more experience and leadership but refs in england will target him just like they did with ndj after the wc and bolo .pepe is 30 and will challenge kompany and just like the lch pairing one will ask to leave if not jan then summer kompany to barca anyone? one of the ways we bankrolled this spending spree was reducing wages 30 mill saved pepe would knock that back badly and pepe is not good enough in the air to play with nasty as nasty is poor in that area so lets recap astori is not as good because he lacks experience that he will gain subbing kompany he is cheaper not at his peak and wont stop the youth as they are even futher away from their peak years is better in the air and carries no baggage his wages will be cheaper but i believe he is left footed are either of these good enough for us probably not
