Im telling you, he is a defensive liability if one ever existed... atrocious. I dont know where these "highly rated" stories come from, because everyone Serie A fan I know does not like this kid one bit.

If Pellegrini wants him it can only be because he sees the potential. His coaching of Villareal and Malaga and his signings so far suggest that he has got vision.

Why did he collapse?

The Isco Thread finally got to him.

I've just had a look at him on youtube, and he played in the recent Confederations Cup against Uruguay and scored with a Kolarov styled free kick. I don't know if it was meant to be a shot or a cross, but it was a decent enough goal just the same.

I wish this were true, but Diamanti was the free kick taker. Astori scored that small tip in.
