A mental second half. We should have won that game 5/6-0 so to only draw is a piss poor result even more so given we risked our best side, but considering the circumstances late on you have to accept it as a decent outcome.

Woeful defending again from otamendi for their goal but I’ve more of an issue with our attack tonight than the defence. The Jesus penalty miss was horrific but aside from that, sterling was even more wasteful than he usually is. hoping he’s got that out of his system with Sunday in mind. Mahrez seems to have regressed back to the mahrez of early last season offering practically nothing to the side after starting the season so well, his lack of work rate on top of no output surely puts him out of the reckoning for a start on Sunday. If Pep doesn’t go with Jesus and sterling either side of Aguero I’d like to see cancelo infront of Walker on the right.

There’s a worry too with our inability to regain control in games when we’re put on the back foot, not laying it all on him but with gundogan at the base we never seem to be able to wrestle back control of matches.

I’ve given credit to bravo a few times this past year after some great displays in the cups and pre-season but that for me is a sackable offence. He knew for about 2 seconds he wasn’t getting to that ball, yet he still decides the best course of action was to go in like that knowing the consequences and knowing full well we have no other keeper on the bench? He should be fined maximum wages.

Have to say the time wasting from us for the last ten minutes was amazing, kdb just stood still in the corner continually kicking it off the opponent reminded me of old Trafford all over again.

Mendy had his best game for a long while.
Very big positive for us.
Cancelo continues to look excellent.
Centre backs remain a huge worry.

Overall happy with that outcome.

Said exactly the same... it's either a red and free kick (after VAR check should have been the outcome) or a yellow and pen.

Had that diving **** done that in the area, Bravo would have been booked not wrongly sent off.

Its make it up as they go along now.

I don't think they did. I think they tried to coast it 2nd half. Took it very easy, with no urgency to get into Atalanta's area.
Apart from the odd foray, when the opportunity appeared.
