I know that but would you expect a defender (which is effectively what a keeper is outside the box) to try and “tackle” with his arm? Asking for trouble.

I remember Niall Quinn going in goal and pulling off a worldy to deny a Dean Saunders penalty.

That was worthy of adulation.

All Kyle did was a GK impression whilst we were down the other end taking the piss.

In view of the 2nd half performance, (not read all of this thread so apologies if already mentioned) could.it be that maybe pep went absolutely mad at Gabby for his penalty miss (I mean over the top mad). The rest if the team were not happy with this which affected their 2nd half performance?. Not saying here that pep was wrong. There is no excuse for a professional to miss the goal!!!. My tin hat is well and.truly stuck on my head
