Atalanta (A) CL Post-Match Thread

Glad to get out of there with a point after a truly terrible 2nd half showing, things went off after Gab's pathetic penalty miss.
Seriously, has there been a bigger chump than Bravo at our club in the last 20 years?, ever since day one and that nightmare showing at OT, the guy has just been a non-stop disaster, gets a chance tonight and fecks it up within 20 minutes by getting needlessly sent off. Unbelievable. Did the same at Barcelona in Pep's 1st season, charging out his goal for no reason. Clown.
Jesus has been poor last few weeks and was not great tonight.
Raz scored early doors, can be utterly brilliant and then turns in too many of those types of performance, wasted our two best opportunities in the 2nd half from great positions.
Hard to say who played well tonight, Gundogan was great 1st half then like so may others, just seemed to disappear 2nd half. Likewise Mahrez, KDB barely got going, I hardly noticed Bernado was on the pitch until the last 5 minutes when he kept there ball really well down at the corner.
Complacency set in after that 1st goal, an attitude of we''ll just walk this without having to try too hard.
Need to do better and no doubt we will, hopefully starting Sunday.

Can’t blame today’s result on Bravo. Indeed, he kept us in the match. One on one & we could have been 2-1 down.

Bit sick of the ‘Bravo is shit” bandwagon. It’s something that sheep keep jumping on

Joke of a post. As I keep saying - no other team would be second in the league, still in league cup, within spitting distance of CL quarters - if they had the injuries we currently have & have had.
I wish you would politely go away & support another team so we don’t have to read your rubbish anymore

It's nice to see the sky is falling brigade out tonight. Admittedly I sometimes join that brigade but tonight was more fun than anything.

Agree. Tonight was the result of qualification being a certainty and heads and minds thinking about Anfield.

This result has absolutely nothing to do with the game on Sunday.

oh dear, oh dear.
That is the worst midfield performance I have seen from us in a long, long time. Mahrez and Gundogan have previous but what is going on with Bernie and Kev?

Kyle motm.

Everyone else meh.

Great few days for Walker!

We’ve had some great performances this season but our consistency is way off. For me the common denominator is a midfield without Fernandinho. Even when Rodri was fit, we just weren’t the same.

Ota and Stones played a big part in the centurions season, we lose too much in midfield and don’t gain enough at the back with Ferna at CB.

Dinho doesn’t look at home in centre half.
This is what I came on to say.

Happy with the result. Slightly worried Ederson is injured. Whatever it is, it's not going to heal in 3-4 days so he'll either be out, or he'll play with an injury.
