Cant see that working. I dont think you can get away with on CB (One attacks the ball the other drops rule) and ultimately, that would result 4 at the back with either Fern or Walker driven to CB, with cancelo at Right back.

I think a back 4 of walker, Stones, Oti and mendy, with Fern in front would be the way to go personally. Don't think it matters who is at CB without some protection they are fucked.

I agree about fernie in mid, we lose ground in midfield too quickly and defend too deep when he is CB.

We’ve all been there... he definitely just thought “oh bollocks to it” before charging out.

Perhaps he saved us from going 2-1 down.

Pen was a mistake. Bravo's challenge should have allowed City's defender to get back, but ref bought the forward's kick.

So the way i see it with the Raz penalty then getting called back for a free kick, correct decision yellow card for a penalty, incorrect yellow card decision if it's a free kick!

- KDB, the catalyst for our attack, not been the same since his injury.

I thought he passed the ball really well. Good positioning.

Looked strong and much more comfortable in defence. Looks as if he is getting his mojo back.

Not sure it will be a confidence boost for Mendy or any other player.

And he was very loose with his passing today, giving away the ball while under very little pressure quite a few times, which Pep will not like. Though, I agree his defensive contributions were generally sound.

I must have been watching another game ;-)
I thought his link play with Sterling and Bernardo down the left was very good in the first 45.
Second half was a different story for the whole team.
He was a very good outlet for Eddy in a he first half but Bravo did not utilise the full backs as much.
