That's ridiculous from Femke Bol, another world record, not about that at the Championships but a nice bonus.

Some quick times in there too, Klaver ran really well.
Yes, in that event (and the womens 800m), the world indoor records are much more, ahem, “achievable”.

Sydney M hardly ever races and keeps hidden away so much, which doesn’t do her any favours imho. Whereas Bol is never afraid to put herself on the line and come out and race :-)

Superb run and win from Josh Kerr, showing last year wasn't any fluke.

His head to head with Ingebrigtsen this season is going to be clas.
Looking forward to it. Ingebrigtsen is still smarting after his defeat last year, with his recent comment about he can beat Kerr blindfolded. Everyone knows he’s good but you can be humble with it, he obviously isn’t.

An amazing runner.

Brilliant night's Athletics, superb from Josh and Molly. Amazing from Bol, she's magnificent, hope the Dutch beat the yanks in the women's 4×400, possible bronze for the British ladies in that. And maybe a Gold for Jemma Reekie.
Wouldn’t it be good for the Nielsen sister’s too? It was a great run for Laviai to finish fourth and a personal best, you can’t ask for anything more than that.

Didn't realise he'd said that, he's a great runner but he does come across as being a bit of a spoiled brat. He saw his arse when Whiteman beat him as well.

Yes, that’s two British runners that’s beaten him. The comments by the women on telly were aimed at him because of what he said I think.

It would, the first sisters to ever finish first and second at a British championships. Knight and Pipi are decent as well so they have a chance.

Been a very enjoyable watch. I'll leave the analysis to people with much more knowledge than me and make two completely crass observations...

Hope Femke Bol ends up going into
punditry when she packs it in, be like listening to a very enthusiastic Minnie Mouse on speed and would be an entertaining contrast to the other boring talking heads.

What is it with Norwegian male athletes and their 'Tomorrow Belongs To Me' look, someone needs to have a word.

It's not the heads. I could look at Danny Muppet's and Alan Shearer's heads to see which one glistens most in the studio, but the minute the Dipper apologist begins to utter the first syllable I'm off. Same with Yappy Gabby. Athletics used to be a good watch but nowadays yer can be forgiven for thinking yer've found a channel showing Andre Rieu in Maastricht.

On the contrary, I find Gabby good as a presenter, I think she’s a good alrounder. She was a gymnast as a teenager but as far as I know, without googling, didn’t quite make the elite grade for whatever reason, so has plenty of background knowledge. The whole team on BBC althletcs, Jessica Ennis-Hill, Denise Lewis, along with Michael Johnson, who unfortunately is missing from these championships are a real knowledgable team who I really enjoy listening to.

Ah, the only talking head I could listen to. Erudite, articulate and knowledgeable.

A breath of fresh air watching the athletics, the commentators and studio presenters actually know what they are on about and rarely make a mistake.
And it's totally different from any other sport where there's no one to dislike and they just put on a good show......apart from the Ethiopian middle distance runners with their tactics, cunts they are
