Atlético Madrid v City (UEFA Youth League)

I wish there was some way of seeing this.

Tough game.

There's nothing anywhere, even City are promoting it as a Twitter only thing. Eurosport seem to be more bothered about Chelsea.

Interesting stats on the OS about Atletico :-

Like the first-team, Atletico are a proactive side who like to play on the front foot but a possible chink in their armour could be their defence.

Los Colchoneros may have scored a whopping 17 goals in qualifying, two more than City, but they conceded 14, which is 10 more than Vieira’s men let in.

The match will be played on Wednesday night at the Ciudad Deportiva Cerro Del Espino in Majadahonda at 8pm local time (7pm UK)

The winners will take on Benfica or Austria Vienna at home in the last eight.

We’ll have live Twitter updates from the game, as well as a match report and highlights on the site after the game.

Chelsea, Arsenal, Schake, Barca already trough to the next round. Hope we follow them.

On the UEFA website it says that Athletico have scored a lot of goals but also conceded 14 in the group stage, whereas we conceded 4. We have quite a few players from the EDS squad so if we can keep our composure we have to be in with a fair chance.

What time is kick off? Is it this afternoon as I can dodge out of work and perhaps find a river.

Edit**** just bothered to read the thread evening ko.

Too early to say definitively, but my streaming site says the game will be available at 7pm. Hopefully it is, but it is sometimes wrong
