It was reported yesterday that the attendance reduction was not enforced after AM appealed it. If that’s true, UEFA again demonstrate that they are a joke.

They didn't have to reduce in the end as UEFA suspended the punishment.

Strictly speaking, they appealed to CAS and won hence the suspension. I now await hysterical posts slagging off CAS and claiming they don’t know what they’re doing!

yep the injury time was reported as 3 minutes on BT-sport but then went to 9 minutes then 12 minutes ??
even the madrid fans started booing because of the 3 minutes ?

For once that isn’t true. It would have been a joke if they had reduced the attendance by5000 given all the tickets were sold. How do you pick who can’t get in anymore? Sorry Pedro - I know you travel 200 miles and stay overnight but now you can’t go. They should reduce capacity for a game in the future not with 2 weeks notice. Otherwise that is more Uefa arsehole decision making

Let’s just imagine, for a second, we were 1 down with 2 minutes left and Suarez is fouled off the pitch. He then rolls over 4 times to get back on the pitch and Cancello tries to get him off and it all kicks off. I doubt we’d be criticising anyone other than Suarez.

NB: I’m not criticising Phil here but him, Fernandinho‘s ‘cruciate’ and Eddies ‘dislocated shoulder’ were all things that would be universally criticised if the Spaniards had been ‘practising the dark arts’. I, for one, am glad we finally get it and, if the referee isn’t going to take control, we are prepared to employ whatever we need to to get through. I’d rather be in the semi final following a game like yesterday than have played a beautiful game and got done 1-0, after trying some fancy flick or such like, then lost on penalties.

the ref obviously tried to live up to his "reputation" of letting the game "flow". He now has a reputation for being fuckin' 'opeless. Out of his shallow.
VAR could be used to highlight the times he bottled out on thuggery causing the game to spiral into anarchy. But it wont.....surprising no one....
