You can take the bloke out of Manchester, but you can't take Manchester out of the bloke!
Of course. Amateurish mistake on my part. Consider my wrist slapped. He's from Stockport ;-)
To be fair, 'you can take the man out of Stockport but you can't take Stockport out of the man' doesn't quite have the same ring.Of course. Amateurish mistake on my part. Consider my wrist slapped.

It does. Hardest town there is. Inner core is travelling stock. To be fair, 'you can take the man out of Stockport but you can't take Stockport out of the man' doesn't quite have the same ring.
Grealish was the most fouled player in the Premier league last season and he has never had a red card in his career hence has never retaliated , so i dispute your opinion about self control. When you play a team like Atletico and their dark arts you do not lie downand take it , you give it back. Perhaps you should be congratulating Grealish and the rest of team for playing them at their own game , timewasting , rolling around and goading their players. That is why it was right he wasnt playing last night , no self control or awareness of how to play in the grown ups cl

Its not pretty but you either stand up to them or you go out of the competition , we showed character and back bone last night and i am as proud as punch that they ALL fought for the shirt.
That's him. I remember he lacked pace but was a much better footballer than Savic.Nastasic?

City hit list is growing by the week ;) lol
I've still not seen it, has anyone got the footage?Just watched over the 60min highlights on BT catch up, no doubt we were under the cosh 2nd half but forgot about that huge chance for Gundog one on one from near the pen spot in 95th minute.
This catch up mentioned (via walton) the attempted Savic head-but on Sterling, but somehow managed not to show it!

Here ya go...I've still not seen it, has anyone got the footage?
Nice one for a change, particularly from Laurens considering we always smash his team.
Here ya go...
I would imagine they were more concerned with what was going on in the main melee and missed this altogether. If Raz had gone down clutching his face then maybe the outcome would've been different. What's the point of VAR? Ruling off offsides that no one in football would be calling offside for five years ago, not catching blatant violent play.
