Just seen they’ve been sanctioned and have 5000 seats closed off for the 2nd leg!
I hope they've been posted out in time.

Pundits ? I'll have you know, a few see themselves as scouts and/or first class coachesAre you real,he will be one of the first names on the team sheet.
I can't believe the people on this thread, coming up with reasons why certain players should not play in this game.
It is a knockout match,if Pep listen to pundits on this forum, we will be knocked out.
I think his kind of pedantic style could be good for us, but I also remember 2 controversial penalties for handball back in February which could well be targeted by Atletico, so I hope we take careI’m not an expert on German referees, but I have seen in the Bundesliga and in the UCL. I have also seen the reactions from people who probably know him much better than I.
I’m not sure you can argue that a guy who has given 3 red cards in 27 games this season, and none from two yellow cards, would absolutely have sent a Liverpool player off. Maybe he would have, maybe not. And it is not the VAR referee’s job to draw the lines for the offside checks either.
When I say “control the match”, I should have said, “keep it under control”. I certainly think he lost control at that Atletico vs Liverpool game, for instance.
I do hope we are in good hands, like you said. I have no reason to think he is corrupt but just reasons to question how he will do at that stage.
Yep. Suspensions will stand (in contrast to the situation after CL play-offs) whereas the list of yellow cards will be cleared AFTER the QF matches.Having digested the umpteen posts on the subject, it now seems that De Bruyne would miss the home game against Real Madrid if he gets booked on Wednesday. The UEFA wording is typically vague. Are we all now in agreement?
