Hopefully we can maintain possession and go through without too much exertion, they really lack the pace up front that causes us issues, Felix/Griezmann going to hold hands with the full backs makes it harder for them to get out too. We may have some problems if they play on a tiny matchbox pitch like Saints/Palarse though. Ake must start at left back again.

Watched the RM/Chelsea game - cracking, classic match. However, post match disgraceful BT eulogising about the possibility of RM going on and winning the thing, as though the other semi final opponents (and I'm making no predictions) don't matter. This would not happen to any other Prem club in the Ch L - it could only happen to us. No City pundit to do a Mike Summerbee, rein in Rio and remind all around him that there is another show in town called Manchester City FC.

I dont think Ederson had enough time,it was too close to goal,and he was having to move across the six yard box.
I thought Silva was more at fault with the shit clearing header.

think Silvas header was a reflex action from a poor Stones header, i dont know who he was aiming his header at, should have headed it down towards Silvas feet as we had the numbers around the box. Silva could have marked Jota closer mine you.
Grealish in for Jesus, Mahrez for Sterling. though i think he'll start Gundo. Must win, surely cant have 3 spanish teams in the semi's with the scouses

Just hope that Pep plays to our strengths. No brain farts or mad tweaks. Think of them as the Spanish Wolves - who will park the bus and rely on the counter - and we find ways to score.
WAYS TO SCORE is the key ….just dropped 2 points to the Dippers by our guaranteed failure to take easy chances.
Jack Grealish has to start to justify that transfer fee - can’t remember what it was as it’s never mentioned by commentators.
Everything will depend on standard of refereeing and VAR and the LUCK needed in any Cup match…..we’re surely due a good hand??
