Was worried about L'pool last Sunday but City dominated them, I am not worried about these. City play better football and will win on the night 2-0.

(Has Lionheart posted his gloomy prediction of defeat yet?)
Keep up laddy. I have already predicted a 1-0 defeat after 90 mins but with City going through after extra time. As for the guy saying it's our biggest game of the season, that was last weekend.

Unless he plays upfront, I would start this game without Kev. AM will play another version of the turtle formation, so I would go with Gundo-Rodri-Bernardo in the MF. Gundo has the best movement getting into spaces behind the lines. Just my opinion.
Bloody hell did you watch last week’s game or the dippers game? Or indeed all of our games? Why would we leave the best player in world football out of a game like this? As you say, just your opinion, my opinion is that this would be utterly bonkers

Horrible, anti-football, shithouse team. Enough about the rags though! Madrid aren't much better!

If we play to our potential we should win but a 1 goal lead in the CL is still quite a fine margin. I think City are much better than them.

Really looking forward to tonight.

Life as a City fan these days is never, ever, dull is it Blues ?

There again......thinking about it........ as life as a City fan ever been dull ?

Our "Yo Yo" years were anxiety inducing for all the wrong reasons.

City gave me my first Grey Hair at just 21 :-(

Negotiate Atletico tonight, I do not fear Real Madrid.

KDB pulls other players out of position,we dont get the best out of them when he plays,so i agree with the thinking that we play better as an 11 with Gundogan alongside Rodri, and Bernie pulling the strings. We are more balanced and retain possession better, both hugely important factors against a tenacious team that plays on the break.

Did you comment on the game on sunday where they all worked well with kev ? And the other games we win with kev ?

You're becoming unusually optimistic, well done.
(but don't be calling me laddy when i'm a FOC.)

Yup, it's Wednesday now though so this is now our biggest game of the season.

The ideal here is to start with Kev and be in a position to get him off the pitch early with the game won.

I think Bernado might be rested for Gundo so he can be fresh for Saturday. He puts more miles in than anyone and is vital against the scousers, ratting in a deeper position.

I'm a bit concerned that they might be a bit fresher than us on Saturday being at home so we need to mitigate that as much as possible.
I did wonder if the team might stay in Spain and then travel straight back to their London hotel / base on Friday to avoid the extra travel back to Manchester - as the dippers still have to travel down to Wembley - they can then train in the sun in Spain on Thursday & Friday - just a thought?
