Who do L'pool have to play?

I get that but it’s shit scheduling from the Prem for both teams. Fortunately for the dippers they got an easier draw and now look like going through anyway but Benfica gave them enough problems that they can’t take it easy. The top teams just don’t seem to be given any help from our own league when it comes to Europe.

Some points.

- Cancelo is better as a left back now i think
- Rodri, Gundogan, Mahrez were frustrating, and Kevin at times, up until the goal. Lots of stray passes
- What did Grealish do on Atletico? If ever there was a case of trying to kick a man off the pitch
- I'm happy with 1-0, think we'll score over there. How will Atletico approach it? Waste time from the first minute?
- Foden is a genius, totally changed that game
- Kongdogbia is a disgrace. Diving and rolling around when heading a ball when losing a match 1-0
- Loved Peps passion

De Bruyne would play much better if we had a striker. There is literally no focal point in our attack. Creative players need a striker to get the best out of them.

Of course, I agree about Foden :) For two years I have considered him to be our best player.

That came through his earpiece. The ref, as in almost all Cl games, was bloody awful.

As long as he's happy filling in as & when needed, he could end up being the perfect player for us. Aké could easily get more game time by dropping down a level. HOWEVER, he'll miss out on special nights like these, & his medal haul will probably be a lot lower.

I'm happy for the lad. He knows he's our 4th choice CB, but if he's happy to play his part when called upon, I'm more than happy to have him around.
