Ake’s last few performances have led to him being deserving of the chance, don’t think he’ll let us down.

Like that Gundog is playing and Bernie should be well refreshed ready to tear in about them with a savage press.

Great bench with energy/trickery to bring on if required.

Come on City, let’s get out there and show that lot a lesson. It’s a chasm between facing the rags and us.

Slow midfield which is normally a worry but we might need to try and control the speed so I can see why Gundo is in. Sterling on the left is a waste. Foden should have got the nod. Ake has been in good form so not worried. It’s an ok line up.

Ake over zinchenko is fine, didn't expect it because I didn't think he would risk all our centre back options. Just hope that's ake left back and everybody else in their natural positions, if he sticks stones right back then has two left footed centre backs and a rigtt footed left back its going to skew our line, get as many players in their real positions and it'll be fine.

Midfield and attack is what I expected except for Sterling over foden. Sterling's in better form in truth so that's no great surprise but I don't think there will be any space for sterling, especially on the left where he will insist on cutting in and refuse to go down the line. Fodens technical ability would have been better suited to start imo with sterling a better option off the bench.

Two slight eyebrow raises but nothing batshit mental. Get the job done blues!
Think we might see more fluidity, with Sterling drifting inside to make room for Cancelo going forward on the outside and Bernardo floating around on the left hand side/middle too providing some defensive cover for Cancelo, leaves KDB to work with Mahrez and Gundog more central - I like it

almost had that right, Gundog or Foden was my dilemma too and I went with Foden, though I'd have gone for Stones at RB and Ake in the middle, Cancelo is more effective on the left
