I’d argue that Ake is a better traditional LB than Zinchenko but that Zinchenko is a better midfielder and, as our LB generally plays as a midfielder in our offensive phases, Zinchenko is very well suited to the role.
Not big enough to bully anyone off the ball and not known for his goal line clearances (a la Ake) but safe is possession, very neat feet a and pretty damn good in small spaces.
I like having both in our squad.

Other than maybe Foden for Sterling, that's easily our best XI from the players available.

He came off on the hour mark Saturday. No biggie, just how I see it Sure plenty will disagree.
