Great atmosphere today, though the jobsworth stewards tried there best to ruin it. Onto Paris we go hopefully a good atmosphere.
Yes, the stewarding inside the away end was OTT and pathetic.

Yep no tourists or hospitality, one of the best this season
Less than that at the front of the Upper tier mateIt's was more than that singing mate.
A slightly different perspective from my vantage point. We were towards the far right of the away end as you look out onto the pitch. Virtually all the songs started on the left side of the end and the City fans in and around that section were loud as fuck as evidenced by all the fans who were watching on TV. But although they carried over to us, not many around us were joining in for some reason. I also found it hard to start chants from where I was, whereas at Leicester you can get chants going from virtually anywhere in the away end. It's was more than that singing mate.
Same for me blue i was near the half way line and really struggled to get any started. Blues to the left were starting all the chants. I agree the atmosphere was good but there were many not joining in. The lad in front of me didn't clap when we scored, so I spent the duration thunder clapping as close to his ear drum as possibleA slightly different perspective from my vantage point. Still, a top away day all round. The result and atmosphere clearly helped with that but I was on a coach full of characters which made it an even better laugh, and even the coach breaking down at Sandbach Services on the way down - meaning we were stuck there for 2 hours waiting for a replacement - wasn’t enough to dampen spirits. Met up with a mate who has lived in Ipswich for over 20 years and went for a fair few pre-match scoops in a great pub on the Quayside rather than pay £7-odd for a pint of gnat’s piss in the designated away fans pub.
whilst you're right in the fact players/coaches etc have been given tickets for ..... ever, this particular event isn't a good look following the 8 at Liverpool that the club apologised for, and now have done it again so soon after. Shows huge disrespect to the away following.Players and coaches have always been given tickets, I've had players tickets before to random games.
If this is just that I don't think it's as bad as others are making out.

I assume it was 8 because a few of the other coaches/players didn't have any friends or family going, they normally get 2 each, but using each others tickets is something that has always has happened. One or two tickets would be an acceptable perk of the job. Eight is taking the piss
It’s easy to see how our end is full of tourists / neutrals for big away games where presumably every member of staff who asks for tickets gets as many as they fucking want.
Disgraceful.
I have tbf. I enjoy watching football especially going to games.correct, same here.
But I've never travelled to a game where I have no interest in either of the teams.
Regular occurance by many lads back in the 70'sI have tbf. I enjoy watching football especially going to games.
I have even been in the away end at Maine Road which was a very odd experience.
