Rubbish today unless seeing tourists with signs begging for shirts is your thing. I feel for those who are missing out on tickets, the club should be reminded the 30 pound cap was fetched in to allow genuine supporters affordable away days, not for City to sell tickets to the highest bidder

It’s always the same at Arsenal, Spurs, Liverpool, etc. The club doesn’t give a fuck. Saying that, I know branches have taken coach loads today, so it’s not only down to tourists and day trippers. For some reason, bar Chelsea away, we never turn up at London clubs.

Went to Morcambe yesterday, great day out even though very disappointed with the result and Fleetwoods performance. Very impressed with the Morcambes fans singing "Give me Sunshine" at the end both appropriately local and surprisingly tuneful. Don't hear much original singing at football so enjoyed this in spite of being pissed off.

sorry to derail the thread but ha! have that Fleetwood! up the Shrimps (they need something after a miserable season)

We got beat 5 1 and away end was full of people who didn't give a fuck, walking out in 75, City on City at the bottom corner flag, no passion and tickets just given to day trippers.
Fuck off City

I wasn’t there yesterday. From what I’ve heard there were chavesties going around accusing lifelong Blues of being tourists.

We have a probkem with some away tickets going to the wrong problem. We also have a problem with fans who are obsessed with tourists. They wont have much difficulty finding them for areal Madrid at home btw.

I didn't think it was too bad. Conceding a 2nd minute goal is going to take the wind out of any away end. It definitely went off big time when we scored regardless of those saying it was full of tourists.

As with a few away ends in the league, it's a tough one to create an atmosphere unless the rest of the ground is absolutely silent because there is nowhere for the sound to go. I was in Block 22 and I could see those in Block 20 singing but couldn't hear a thing. Just like at Spurs, Anfield, Wolves etc. It's why I'd love for City to try and put all away fans in the lower tier.

Not having a go at you or the traveling City fans, but European fans/Ultras in the CL always make a constant and audible noise in that away end.

I do agree with you it is harder to make a noise at Arsenal, then it is at Leicester, etc

I'd put the Arsenal away end on a par with Wolves, Spurs, and Liverpool for away ends where it's hard to get chants going and heard.

European fans are very different. It's a constant din because they have a drum and are being lead by somebody who doesn't watch the game.

The noise never changes. Its not reactive to the situation on the pitch at all. I much prefer the way we are

It’s time the tickets went to ballot for away games, before I get my head bit off, I have supported the blues since 1973/74 season and only not had a season ticket for 6 of those years. I have just below the 8000point mark. I am a member of all the cup schemes and OSC, if I want a ticket for most pl away games my only source is a ticket tout, same for my boys aged 20 & 14.
I know lots of people who always get a ticket for away games cos they are top of the pile, then pass them onto mates. It’s not just about City selling to tourists.
Can’t see any other way to be fair to all our supporters

LOL

The best atmospheres are nearly always the latter stages of cup competitions or the games where we recover from a poor start and it feels as though we're making a difference

That's been the case from the Everton FA Cup Replay in 81 to beating the rags 3-1 last season or Chelsea last week.

Nothing has changed

Mate, fucking shithouses who started.

I don't know if the video has been shared on here, I really can't be arsed to look, but two of MY mates, absolute TOP lads who've been going for decades home/away/Europe, father & son, travelled on the Baguley & Brooklands bus got set upon by so-called Blues accusing them of being tourists because they decided enough was enough at 4-1 down.

Pissed off a lot of the wrong people this has.

(and if any of the culprits post on here feel free to PM me)

Dickheads.
