Agree 100%. It’s in our DNA, and frankly it kept many of us sane in the dark days.If we’ve lost our gallows humour we’ve totally lost who we are

Yeah i know loads who i never thought would stop going who’ve gave their season tickets up in the last few. All different ages and all say they don’t miss it for a lot of the reasons posted in this threadThat's the bottom line, the tourists are killing it ..... and the more vociferous City fans of yesteryear are fast disappearing, or have already disappeared .... it's gonna be extremely difficult to improve that side of things now .... maybe if they had given us a proper kop or singing section at one end of the ground we could have 'bunched' all the more nosier fans together, if they'd been willing .. but I really can't see that happening now.
We've probably had loads of fans who simply given up going because they simply just don't enjoy the atmosphere, or lack of it anymore ..... people don't mind spending their hard earned money, but they want some enjoyment after spending it!
Agreed. Pathetic. The time for gallows humour was 1998.
The European way is slower coming in to our game lower leagues especially many clubs have them type of fans at games with drums, flags, think it’s a matter of time as the English culture in football does definitely not feel the same as it used to even 10 years ago only a matter of time before it happens at more PL clubsIt isn’t the English clubs’ way. We all marvel at what the European clubs’ fans do when they visit. That’s their thing. It isn’t ours.
10 years ago it was exactly the same as it is now. 20 years ago. 30.The European way is slower coming in to our game lower leagues especially many clubs have them type of fans at games with drums, flags, think it’s a matter of time as the English culture in football does definitely not feel the same as it used to even 10 years ago
Are they bollocks is was shit since we moved to the Etihad and thise guys were nowhere to be seen under Pearce ect.The entitled twats, half and half scarf wearing tourists and twats filming themselves are killing the atmosphere.
City fans are to blame for the lack of atmosphere NOT tourists. WE need to own this problem not pass on blame ffsAre they bollocks is was shit since we moved to the Etihad and thise guys were nowhere to be seen under Pearce ect.
