Well here's an idea. Make NSL2 a singing section, and add extra hospitality and GA+ seats elsewhere in the ground.

That gives us a singing section, whilst ensuring the club gets its precious revenue
I doubt that will happen either. The hotel is at that end of the ground. There is no doubt going to be some hospitality taking up the best seats in that stand.

Correct. With over 400 hotel rooms, a large percentage of fans and people staying in those hotel rooms will have direct access to NSL2, and they will sit on NSL2. There’s no need to traipse around the ground to another part of the Etihad.

Don't get me wrong I absolutely don't have any faith it'll happen. It really winds me up that this is probably going to go to waste.

I think next season when everyone sees the true enormous scale of the new stand, we're all going to be sat there thinking "Why the fuck is that not our home end".

But it's alright cause there'll always be 600 people in 115 singing, now that's what I call intimidating!

I can assure you, as a rule there is nowhere near 600 people singing constantly in block 115. You’re lucky to get 60 fans singing constantly in block 115.

And anyone under the roof can’t be heard by the rest of the ground anyway and particularly SS3 so it rarely sets a song off. SS3 was the one to do this and they messed it up.

Far be it from me to defend the indefensible ones, but the reason they had empty seats was Arsenal (yet again) were trying to reduce their allocation on “safety grounds” then sell those seats to more Tarquins. Trafford objected and appealed to the FA, even suggesting the seats could be allocated to neutrals (eg emergency workers) but the bottlers were having none of it, so the 1000 T2 seats stayed empty.
We should beat the cartel with any stick we can find, but in this case the blame lay with Legoheads serial failures, not the scum. (Probably makes your wind up even more effective though!)
The 15% rule for FA Cup games has been in place for about 30 years (it used to be 25% including 25% of the seats) so well before the Emirates was designed. There is no excuse for not allowing the 9,000 allocation and the FA should hammer Arsenal over this.

Sounds like a cuntish move from Arsenal. It’s got me wondering though - don’t United sometimes get away with not giving the full 15%? I seem to recall one year it came out that as they have the biggest capacity club ground in the country, they get special dispensation to allocate a lower percentage than every other club!

Yes, the rags split the away support and then claim that extra segregation means they can't give the 15%
It's certainly been done to us.
(And font forget they are one of only 2 clubs who are allowed to keep away fans from being next to the pitch)

Rags are cunts when they are asleep, give the scruffy out of town imposters the minimum every time.

They NEVER give the full allocation at the vermindome, finding some shitty excuse to cut it back.

Ganders for Geese !!

On the batter pages mate, it doesn’t matter what the truth is. The rags did great impressions of empty red seats and the scum Criticise our supporters at every opportunity.

Some reasonable rags made similar points to
You you, but not as well. Yku could get a job in Utd’s PR team if it wasn’t the case that Ratweazle has sacked the vast majority of local workers. That’s if your from Manchester / Trafford / Salford

Another reason we need to make NSL2 a proper singing section.

Whilst 115 and the rest of SSL1 may be a standing section, there are plenty in these sections who don't sing and never do, but just like standing.

We need actual areas designed for singers and only singers

.....including SSL3/2 & 75% of SSL1.

Shift the away wallahs down to ESL110/111 & SSL113.

Wet seats, shit views and shit acoustics.

'Two ends are better than one'

I know I’ve got fish in my username but you’re chipping away at my self confidence with this :)

Maybe you noticed the other part of my theory. Because of the lack of a roof, to get a song going in the lower tier you need to clap to be heard. So the songs that get started down there are always “We’re taking the piss and you know” and “Sometines I fantasise” and “We never win at home” whereas the songs started at the top are the longer slower ones because if you shout “Weeeeee Aasare not” or “Bllliuuuueee Mooon” it bounces back and catches on.

This affects the spread because only the latter go round the stadium.
We have to have SS3/2 as an exclusive City end, behind the goals and under the roof where the acoustics and height project sound out !!

What part of this fact dont people understand ??

I find it funny. We either have no fans, no atmosphere or we are over celebrating. We have clearly hurt alot of people and I love it.
It was fantastic in the stadium on Saturday. Lots of families and lots of sheer joy. Other fans are just jealous of what we have got. I felt sorry for the Salford fans surrounded by bitter United fans.

It’s not like they’d have to walk far to get to Entrances C and X from the hotel, to get to Level 2 along the sides.

My crude drawing of the stand, museum, shop and hotel in maroon.

Also, surely if you're paying for hospitality you want to be in the seat with the best view possible, ie. CBL2 and ESL2.

Imagine their faces when they find out they have a 30 second walk to get from their hotel room to their heated seats

Brentford away.

I’m not having a go at the fans who went.

Plenty of respect for that support and the trip on Tuesday night.

Reading a few comments on a Facebook page. Brentford fans didn’t rate our support at all. They thought it was very quiet. And one of the worst at their ground so far this season.

Yet ask any Leicester fan and our away support is one of the best away supports.

Very strange.

I was in the away end. We sang loudly for most of the game. Mates were watching on TV and send messages saying we sounded good on TV. Especially first half.

They had about 2 songs all game.

Probably a rag who’s second team is Brentford.
