People are mixing issues up. There was a huge number of Asian fans at the game last night. This has become a trend. This is positive. It shows that City is not a racist club and that Manchester is not a racist City. But then there are other issues such as ticket prices meaning loads of regular fans have stopped going to Cup games because of the ticket prices. And that means that the atmosphere is rubbish. It was the same against Brugge. Then loads of families with young kids turned up. They didn't sing either. And the regulars in 115 didn't show up either.Still can’t get over this, can’t help but laugh. Could do with a trim on Saturday, hope he’s about still.
I know this has become a cliche saying, but last night it felt like the “games gone”, especially at City. Sold my ticket as I was at work but from what I’ve been hearing from my mates, it was the worst they’ve seen it. Madrid semi final two years ago was just about acceptable, plenty of proper blues and the tourists joined in with the singing. Stewards telling City fans to be quiet for telling Madrid fans to shut up in the City end, send us down to league 2.
For glamour games like Real Madrid loads of people will come if City regulars don't and Manchester has a very large young Asian population who will come to games like this.
