Super atmosphere back of the south stand.
A few guys on the very back row right behind the goal literally sang the entire match.
Loved it today.

Watching on an American stream the atmosphere came across brilliantly, rat **** neville trying to manufacture controversy by saying the team was booed off, silly twat.

Going right through the match/post match threads, no bugger at the game saw the team being berated. It seemed to prompt an outbreak of much needed gallows humour at 2 down.

It's as if Mr shit 'tache ratfink is making shit up as he's a rag yonner ****!

I suspect it was a “Oh now I can hear you” given what he said after the game.
What did he expect after that shit show of defending for 30 minutes when we were very close to being dead and buried. Needs to teach his TEAM to defend and stop getting caught by the same thing time after time.

I wasn't going to like your post till I read the last paragraph ; )

Best atmosphere this season IMHO, the lovely day helped and even when we went 2-0 down the people around me were still laughing and smiling.

Then the place exploded it was marvelous :)
Indeed. 2-0 down early on and almost 3 down soon after left us a bit shell-shocked till Kev decided to roll back the years and boss midfield, that's when we came to life and got right behind the team which ended up a great atmosphere, especially for an early KO.

I really enjoyed the game, lovely day to stay till the end and clap the team, or perhaps not : /

Great comment.

Hard to trot out some of the usual excuses for bolting early today, boring game, bad weather, late finishing time. For all the grief they often give the "tourists", some of the "hardcore" couldn't be arsed staying a few extra minutes to applaud off a great comeback.
Leave when you want, but don't pretend it isn't a symptom of disintetest, or that it doesn't matter. It's your match ticket, you don't have to stay, but you sometimes wonder why some even bother going. It seems like a chore, to be there at kickoff and see the game out.
Indeed, the team kept the Prem push for a CL place alive and put in a really good 70 mins or so of football.

They deserved more from the stands at the whistle.

Really enjoyed it yesterday, not keen on the K.O time but the way the game played out and a couple sherbets made up for that. Atmosphere was decent even at 2-0 down and then obviously got better and better. Palace fans were shite

Was class! We got a great view as we took our Down syndrome daughter in the sensory room for the day and two of my other sons watched the game from up in the stands over there, what a view and even when we went two down we didn’t get on the players backs. The noise when we scored was LOUD and just a brilliant and important win in the Manchester sunshiiiiinnnneee!

Was surprisingly good today, take a bow old school blues who remembered cheering on a struggling team.

When we were in our crap years if the team gave 100% we always got behind them. Yesterday we were playing well before we went 2-0 down and the team gave everything which as fans is all we want. As a result the support gave everything in response and we collectively turned it around.

Felt like a proper City crowd for once, yesterday. Definitely far fewer tourists.

I think the club must have been sent back (if that’s even a thing nowadays with everything being digital) loads of unsold tickets from their worldwide ticket tout partners and selling more through the proper channels on the City website to proper City fans with memberships made a noticeable difference to the makeup of the crowd yesterday.

Even the lad next to me was from Yorkshire and was loud in joining in with chants, that’s only the second time in two years that the seat to my left has been taken up by someone from Britain.

I’ve tried that once as an experiment 10 minutes early on a Sat 1230 v staying until the end which I usually do. NO DIFFERENCE at all.
