He does know that's the tunnel club area, where his mate has shifted out all the old school fans and replaced them with the drawn sandwich brigade? He's pissing in the wind expecting any noise from them

Pep has been here long enough to know that. But he's still cupping his ears and watching the City match hospitality money roll into Tast on King Street that he is a part owner of along with Soriano and Txiki. I'm tired of Pep and his atmosphere antics on the touchline.

It absolutely amazes me what visiting European fans and Ultras get away with when they come to England for European cup competitions.

Deansgate being closed off, stopping, chanting, blocking the roads, flares, fireworks, fire crackers, trams being put on for them, etc.

Lyon in the city centre, and making their way to United.

Always remember us chanting "where were you at Waterloo?" V PSG.

The dicks were scrapping with each other then got leathered by GMP.

I thought it was pretty flat for much of the game, particularly second half until we sensed that we might get the win when Doku came on. Atmosphere reflected the game I thought.

Everton fans really quiet. Thought they might have been a bit more up for it given they only have 2 more home games after this.

It was a drab game though.

Maybe the awful first 70 minutes was a ploy to send the home fans to sleep and make sure they didn't create a hostile atmosphere. It worked to perfection if so. They were so quiet, they'll only ever visit that ground twice after today. You'd have expected them to be up for it and savour the last big game at the ground.

Never understood how they get a reputation for having a good home atmosphere like most grounds in the country it’s Quite most weeks

What’s even baffling is the reputation they get for having a great away following.

They have two songs “Everton, Everton” and “it’s a grand old team to play for” and they sit down!

Glad to be part of history yesterday. I thought we were loud and proud for the first half an hour. Then it took until well into the second half to really get going again. Bedlam when the 2 goals flew in.
Agree it was quieter in the second half than first but the first was pretty non stop. Never heard a peep from the scousers all game
