Thought the first half was bloody awful but the second half seemed to be from a different game. And the celebrations at the end were sensational.

Funny atmosphere tonight. Long stretches of silence followed by entire stadium cacophony of noise.

Villa fans were up for it tonight and added to it.

Pep was loving the noise after the winner, he was applauding all four stands.

115 atmosphere was good. Thought the villa fans were OK, nothing special considering I thought they would be right up for it.
Lots of blues joining in with singing and plenty of random shit chants about emptying bins.

Went nuts at the end. Mint

I thought it was alright tonight. One of the better atmospheres this season.

Villa fans are terrible, proper tinpot song list (including football in a library after a full stadium rendition of Bluemoon).
I can’t stand their fans. As you say full stadium bluemoon and then it the library chants from them - really odd

It's as if they have a quota they have to fill. They were silent for a good few minutes at ine point and then started singing shit support... Proper set of wierdos, same every year

Reporting from the FOC trenches of the front of 326 in the CB stand. Lots of regulars missing in action. Reserve forces who took up the evacuated territory were surpisingly loud and remained in position well past the last post. Clearly not breifed that we normally retreat at 79mins. Overall - mission successful. Honourable mention to 1894 for flying the regiment banner.

Fantastic in 111 tonight. Proper old school and everyone on the same page. Totally different demographic to a midweek champions league game . Imagine what it would be like if they’d reduce the prices .
Oh and nice to see our tax bill being put to good use. About 10 coppers turning up to evict a solitary City fan.

Stewards in SSL1 OTT again. 66 year old mate of mine thrown out just before the winner. They said he was being aggressive.

Decent atmosphere after a slow start. The mysterious flag in South Stand L1 caused a bit of confusion.

The atmosphere improved in the 2nd half and it was great to celebrate the winner.

Villa were decent but far from their best, as their fans on my train acknowledged.

I had one threatening to kill me on the tram station outside after the game. A full on spanner saying the tram going into town was going to London as all our fans are from London. He said if I hadn't looked like his grandad I'd be dead. Nice. He was about 6ft 6 and a nob.

Few seasons ago I knew a chap who felt he had been unfairly treated by the stewards. He wasn’t in a rush to get home and tried to spot the offending stewards leaving quite some time after the final whistle.

He was in luck and followed them away from the ground and was able to confront them away from prying eyes. Unsurprisingly, without 20 of their mates behind them and with no cctv cameras to deter him from forcibly getting his point of view across, these 2 chaps shied away from conflict and showed no signs of the authoritarianism on display inside the ground and were very keen to apologise and assure him that “it wasn’t personal mate, we’ll get sacked if we don’t do as we’re told”

Didn’t get a cross look from them on the few occasions he encountered them subsequently. Friendly nods all round. Pitiful.
