Atmosphere Thread | 2025/26

Hahaha lived in Glossop since 2013… it’s pretty good… nice they’ve actually sorted the market hall which has been closed since we moved here… traffic is a bugger though…. Bypass hahaha
The chanting and singing was pretty much continuous all game… laughed our heads off with some of them aimed at Leeds fans… very funny…
Well if you’ve chosen to move there, then that’s your fault. Full of head the ball’s that place.

But yeah. Proper away support tonight it sounded like on TV.

Hahaha it’s actually quite a nice place… you need to visit…. It’s definitely different to Faversham in Kent hahaha

Leeds have the best home support in the country, yet I thought our away end, going off being a tele watching ****, outdid them.

I don’t do Twitter any more but guarantee some level headed Leeds fans will praise our boys and girls tonight.

Every time I watch Leeds at home they attack the away end with lots of “your support is fucking shit” over and over again, barely heard that today, instead just heard our repertoire.

Those that went did us proud.
Contradiction in terms

Sounds like I'm going to be in the minority here. Didn't think we were particularly great in the first half, especially when they were on top.

Much better in the 2nd half. Well done all. Glad to hear it sounded good on the tele.

Thought Leeds fans were decent also, although a bunch of very jumped up pricks to the right of the away end.

We were singing to them “where’s your famous atmosphere” and “is this the Etihad”. Best bit was a long chorus of “Jimmy SAville barmy army” which went on for ages.

Did some one in our end start banging a drum second half? After a couple of “City”s it had the potential to kill everything off but everyone just ignored it and sang over it. Hopefully it was just someone banging wall or something.

Our fans were awesome at Leeds today. Very loud. Probably helped that the opposition were loud as well

There were a few occasions where the knobhead was banging it out of time with the chant and it cause the whole thing to fall out of time.

I thought it was the Jimmy Saville's who had the drum

It was there smaller end that was making all the noise. Their big end opposite was very quiet

Yes a total disgrace. One entrance and the same door as an exit for a section with 2,600 fans in it. The same in the toilets. Very unsafe and overcrowded. The stadium is a dump. Sub standard in every way.
The half time queue for the toilet was a disgrace, and inevitably not helped by the smokers blocking the route to the urinals on the left hand side, and subsequently funnelling everyone towards a manic survival of the fittest

By the time I reached the front, there were 3-4 vacant urinals, and yet dozens still queuing behind me.

Strangely nobody seemed that bothered as it just added to the old-school atmosphere that we all secretly love

Queuing to do coke in the traps

I got back from having a piss to find the whole away end singing the “Jimmy Savile’s barmy army” song

Thought it was a fantastic old school away end atmosphere yesterday. The Leeds fans to the right of us tried their best but they just kept getting drowned out. Disappointed with the Leeds Kop - there didn’t seem to be much coming from that end.

Some right thick twats amongst the Leeds support. Singing “What’s it like to see a crowd?” to us after they announced the attendance as 36,000 was beyond parody. Also, did anyone spot the Leeds fan with the retro yellow shirt repeatedly doing aeroplane signals to us after the final whistle? Fucking weird ****!
