Proper sun trap on Level 0 at the Etihad, below ground level, no breeze gets in… that game needed the club to spray fans with water cannons like they do in Greece. It was fucking redders!

Yes, think so anyway, was desperate for water at half time, In East 0.
Even the Mexicans were struggling.

But the West end of Wembley is horrendous.

For some reason the atmosphere struggles to get going not only for City fans, but for other fans as well at the end of Wembley. The sun, heat, and views from there are unbearable on a hot and sunny day.

Eh? We had the east end yesterday, hence the problem looking at the sun which sets in the west.

Shitty thing to say as a journalist.

City have had at least one game at Wembley for the last 10 seasons. Transport, accommodation and ticketing has only gone up and up in that time. Its no longer a novelty for us.

It's literally their fucking job to show up and cover this.

Yep, a proper ****'s trick that. And while Pep acknowledged it, it didn't come across as him having a dig at our fans - more that he understood why with many saving their dosh for a possible final.
 
Following conversations with City Matters, the Official Supporters Club (OSC) and 1894, we want to understand the demand for a condensed section within the safe standing section for fans who want to help lead, build and sustain noise inside the Stadium.

While every part of the Stadium plays a role in creating a fantastic matchday atmosphere, we’re offering fans the opportunity to register their interest to be part of an ‘Enhanced Singing Section’.

These seats will be located from the back row of the new North Stand. Adult Season Tickets in this area are priced from £425. For full pricing details, please view the stadium map.

Fans can pre-register for this area by clicking ‘Enhanced Singing Section’. Fans in the ‘Wider Safe Standing’ sections will still be encouraged to play a part in creating an incredible atmosphere on matchday.

The Club will continue discussions with fan groups to support the atmosphere in this new area of the Stadium.

The Official Supporters Club and 1894 will also contact their members directly to gather information and support the relocation process.

I think cheap tickets and the label of a "singing section" is a fantastic start

All they’ve got to do now is promote it and open it to new young season ticket buyers and it could be what some of us have hoped for.
 
What I would like to know is how PSG have the highest average tickets prices in Europe and yet generate the best atmosphere in European football. PSG have a large Arab / North African following and take the Palestinian flag with them away from home. It was flown pre-match on the march to Anfield and in the Anfield Rd end.

PAG unfurled a huge banner of Napoleon conquering Europe last night… wonder if Bayern will do the same with their big murderous leader from history next week?
