Never mind 8,000 extra. It would be great to have 8,000 fans who get behind the team. Credit to 1894 but they are flogging a dead horse.

I still love the fortitude of the Blues who turn up early and sort the displays. They deserve a lot better. The horse has been dead and decaying for years.
It's a real shame what European Nights at the Etihad have become.
Didn't recognise a single person around me today, and felt like a bit of a stranger. I don't blame anyone for not bothering with these nights, and I don't blame the tourists for filling up a ground that would've been empty otherwise, but it just leads to shite like tonight.
There will come a day when the club really regrets how disenfranchised they've let their core supporters become, I think it's closer than they might like to think.
I think the Real Madrid semi was the final straw for a lot. But apart from 20-21 I've been to all the CL semi finals at the Etihad and the common denominator outside is the thousands of 'fans' who obviously have never been to the Etihad in their life wandering around taking tickets away from lifelong blues. The atmosphere has deteriorated every year in the Cl games.I agree.
City fans have never really taken to the CL bar the season we won it.
Up to that point, and to now, it was clear what the club club wanted to do, and that was to sell tickets to anyone and any fan who wanted to watch a CL match at the Etihad. That included letting anyone buy a citizens card for the Real Madrid game. That, and Madrid fans all over the Etihad was the final nail in the CL for many City fans.
Doubt it watching this dross and Europa League next season.8,000 tourists, no prob.
we’ve lost our passion mate.!The electric chair wouldn’t liven up most of our fansGet an exciting team and the atmosphere will be there. This side stink the place out, it's been crap this last season and a bit, tonight was a low performance very similar to when we went on that awful run last season. I really hope we're not starting on that again
Agreed. How the hell do they let in a step ladder?Absolutely agree. We go away to Spain etc and we are up in the gods so we can barely be heard, but we let away fans and their orchestrated shite come in with a megaphone and bang their drums, where I can't get anything bigger than A4 size in the ground.
Worse of all, it doesn't even follow what's on the pitch, just some **** on a stepladder with his back to the game organising wankers with his mate twatting a drum constantly like German water torture.
Almost as bad, there is a small pocket of fans in here who worship this Tifo shite and would love a drum in the ground. The day that happens at one of our PL home games will be the last game I ever attend.
Oh and Pep, that was on you tonight, fucking gash.
Anddddddddddd relax !

We’ve had plenty of exciting sides and good performances and it’s still been poor.Get an exciting team and the atmosphere will be there. It’s not about there being a debate about their kind of support being better than what we created last night, it’s that the away drum specifically stops us being able to get an atmosphere going and needs fucking off.The chants weren’t inaudible where I was sat.
Get your ears checked out in the morning.
Or get some ear drops.
I take it you never wanted a drum kit.
Contrast that to a few stadium chants of come on City, and 2 Half hearted chants of we’ve got Pep.
I’d rather have a drum and 90 minutes of solid support and singing compared to our embarrassing support tonight.
I'm in 142. There was definitely that!Wasn't there but was it anything like the Dortmund game where we did that cool thing we do where hundreds of people wander around aimlessly for the first 25 mins because they don't know how to find their seat?
