They will, because our entire business model relies on bringing in tourists due to the success on the pitch.Sadly mate I don’t think they will ever regret it. They are completely entrenched in the view that us ‘legacy fans’ are at the very bottom of the food chain.
If anything those of us who haven’t sacked it off yet are an inconvenience because Soriano and his mates would much prefer our seats be occupied by a tourist who spends £250 in the club shop, films the entire match on their iPad, and doesn’t even care who wins.
10 years from now we could be playing games in the europa conference league, have no 'Haaland Factor', and the club might just wish they'd treated their 'legacy fans' a little bit better.
