I'm not entitled just pissed of that someone who has been following for over 60yrs can't get tickets next to his son.

Had many great times in doing this sadly for me not anymore. I sit at home on my dodge stick with me missus and WhatsApp my lad.

Like you say success has brought in new fans and us FOC aren't needed for ticket n pint per game.

Im happy that some fans are still happy with their matchday experience. Im not but I'm not entitled.
Ignore the troll mate. You've put in the hard yards down the years and like anyone else on here you're entitled to an opinion

You could buy 6 tickets v Exeter?

Not having a go....just it's a chance of sitting with family?
He could've, yes, and he could get 2 tickets together for Brighton tomorrow night, but I'm guessing he means the majority of games in general. Games that are often showing next to no availability until much closer to the fixture when a load of 3rd party returns, etc, suddenly appear on sale but by then many fans have already made other plans. If I'm not mistaken, he doesn't live locally so he'll probably need to plan his trips quite well in advance.

Who said I don't attend matches any more? Like many others, I'm fucking pissed off at the way the club is treating supporters, particularly season ticket holders.

The success we have had has exceeded my wildest dreams, it's been an incredible 10 years but the success has come at a cost. Just look at the reason's why there were fan protests, are the people that organised those entitled?
So as a season ticket holder what are you pissed off about ?

I know all this mate...............If he wants to jack in going that's his choice.

Just thought he may want a chance of going V Exeter. If he doesn't then fair do's.

I'm not forcing anyone to attend games. I live 5 miles away so I can make every home game.

Even I moan about travel though ha That fucking tram.

Yeah, same here mate. I'm even closer than that - have the luxury of being able to walk to the ground in half an hour if doing it a brisk pace so I can't begin to imagine the challenges facing fans coming from much further away

I used to live near Warwick for work years ago and it's a ballache for home games but some aways especially Birmingham were great. (2nd and 3rd division days)

If you actually read 'City Fans' posts on Blue Moon, you would understand why City fans aren't going as much as they used to go.

Don't worry, there will be an extra 8000 seats to fill this year when NSL2 opens. Which means there will be plenty of available empty seats for City fans to sit next to each other. Brighton will be a good start on Wednesday night.
Moan,moan, moan

Lots of people don’t attend games and that’s their choice. It doesn’t give them the right to slag off our club at every opportunity though. Just relentless negativity.

Sorry mate but that's a poor post from someone who is normally a good poster. There are plenty of fans who have stopped going for various reasons. To label any of them as former City fans simply because they don't go to matches anymore is way off. This is a forum for City fans, yes, but many of the fans on here are not match-going fans. If something stopped you going to matches that wouldn't make you a former City fan.
Just sick of the negativity. There needs to be some context. No one is saying the club is perfect but some of the moaners are looking for an excuse to moan. Some people revel in it. Some of them are starting to sound like scousers. Perhaps they just hate modern life. I’m sick of the bloody moaners.

I can voice my opinion on here however I want. I don't slag the club off at every opportunity, I've pointed out that off the pitch the club seem to be making things very difficult for supporters, particularly season ticket holders.

I get it, people like you won't have a bad word said about us. That's absolutely fine but like we saw with the protests, unless people voice their opinions and stand up against them from time to time, they will take the piss.

Without supporter protest, there wouldn't have been any new season tickets released when the new stand opens. Match day ticket pricing would have significantly increased too.

Spot on. No one is forcing them to support City. Why do they come on here and tell us all that they don’t attend matches any more. This is a forum for City fans not former ones.
If people can’t attend matches it doesn’t make them former City fans, mate. A lot of people have been priced out but still love the club to bits.

I agree with that. But some posters on here have crossed a line. Some of the have exaggerated and lied about the club. They are revelling in their misery so much they sound like rival fans. Perhaps they just hate modern life. If they do that’s their choice but they don’t have to drag everyone else down. We all have plenty to be negative about these days but, for me, football is escapism.

There are thousands of "real fans" who sit there bored out of their minds for 80 minutes and then leave. Starting to think we need more new fans to replace them who are actually excited to watch one of the best teams in the history of the club and want to appreciate them at full time.

A lot of blokes I know simply can't afford to go anymore, and it hurts them deeply.

I certainly don't begrudge them for having a little whinge at the clubs disgraceful ticketing strategy, which has forced many blues away.

I know you don't like the negativity, but a lot of what people are saying is unfortunately just the sad reality.
