We sit in CB3 and I've said this many times we can not hear much coming from SSL1, great tonight hearing noise from both ends and I must admit NSL2 was impressive tonight, SSL3 was also great from where I sit SSL3 and the new NSL2 got most of the songs going today.
 
We need to get 60000 every game going forward, looked absolutely brilliant, I would somehow find a way of giving away teams another 1000 tickets, would add to the atmosphere
 
Fantastic first half atmosphere. Great noise. SSL3 were top yesterday. And one of the chants by the new Guardiola Stand hurt my ears and that’s never happened before at our stadium. That stand is going to make a huge difference to our atmosphere and it looks absolutely fantastic.

Second half was bobbins apart from around the Bernardo and Stones substitutions but picked up again after VAR disallowed Foden’s cracking goal and then with the stadium-wide Made Of Stone/Guardiola chant (started and carried by SSL3), which was a proud moment for me as it was me who made that chant up in 2018.

The new stand looked and sounded brilliant yesterday. We sit in CB midway,so unless it's a big game the atmosphere is normally pretty subdued, but I'm with a disabled guy,otherwise I'd have moved years ago.Anyway going into next season, I think the 2 ends both singing,will get the singing going in the CB and east stand and we should end up with some great atmosphere's next season,with the whole stadium singing.
 
The two side stands will never be naturally boomy due to them being so spread out. Im certain some acoustics could be retrofitted and even pipe in the noise from the SS and Pep. Its a confidence thing. Oh..and a tourist thing. Sitting there eating all fuckin match, doing tictocs and playing games on their phones. I wonder if someone on the PA could lead more songs? Some simpler songs would be good as well. For people who dont go much, some of the songs probably illegible lol. To "I I Yippy yippy I" "Have you ever won the treble have you fucck CI-TY"???

Football chants used to be a lot shorter and easier to remember, now you need a hymn sheet and added to that our core support is getting older so their ears aren't what they were.

Yeah, dont get me wrong, some of our specials are great. "4 in a row" a cracker. But needs to be known. It was simple back in the day. We also need our song back. Bluemoom gets cut off. We need a song we can all sing all the way through. Like west ham doing Im Forever Blowing Bubbles. That doesn't get flipped 10 seconds in to a punk version that nobody carrys on singing. I've said this before... but 60k singing this?????

A few points for me -

1. I thought the atmosphere was excellent yesterday, very loud particularly first half, when the 2 departing players departed the pitch and for all the post match stuff

2. It doesn’t half make a difference when ALL the stands and ALL the fans join in

3. We sit at the front of the new stand (legacy family stand fans - moving to the middle of the stand next season) and it was great to hear so much noise behind us

4. There were obviously a lot of new fans in the north stand yesterday, (Pep Guardiola stand sorry), it should be even better next season with the new season tickets and the relocation fans

5. Next season hopefully the club see sense on the pricing — the full ground looks amazing, nice to see there were basically all seats occupied

Had my season ticket in North Stand Level 2 for the best part of 20 years, and I have to say it was a bit odd to both have so many fans and songs generated from behind me! Whilst there are some things that I would have preferred to be in different in terms of configuration (i.e. amount of safestanding from the outset), there's no doubt that it has real potential to add to the atmosphere. Good effort from those in there yesterday.

Scotland still has it. Probably because tickets are affordable for young, pissed, local, working class lads.
