Attacks in Paris

Belgium on high alert of imminent attack according to their PM

The lads who are into hacking their communication systems have said current terrorism targets they've seen discussed are

  • Demonstration by Collectif du droit des femmes (Paris)
  • Cigales Electroniques with Vocodecks, RE-Play & Rawtor at Le Bizen (Paris)
  • Concrete Invites Drumcode: Adam Beyer, Alan Fitzpatrick, Joel Mull at Concrete (Paris)
  • Feast of Christ the King celebrations (Rome/Worldwide)
  • Al-Jihad, One Day Juz (Indonesia)
  • Five Finger Death Punch (Milan)
  • University Pastoral Day (Holy Spirit University of Kaslik, Lebanon)
  • WWE Survivor Series (Atlanta)

Be surprised if any of them get hit

I wish to clarify one matter on this thread.
I've said that I have no time for the fascist gangsters of the IRA, UDA and so on. I don't.
However, I have the utmost respect for the Catholics of Northern Ireland in their [non-violent] opposition to being marginalised and oppressed by the British establishment, which they clearly were.
Also, the Irish have been the best of friends to the Palestinians over many decades when the rest of the bleedin' heart liberal West left the Palestinians to rot and die in refugee camps. RESPECT.
SLF are one of my top five live bands. First saw them circa 1980. Inflammable Material is the angriest protest album that you'll ever hear.

Seeing Drumcode there has really made my stomach sink. I've been to Drumcode events in the past, I'm going to them in the future - I'm seeing Alan Fitzpatrick and Adam Beyer in exactly seven days.

I genuinely feel sick.

I wouldn't get too worried about it, these things are notoriously unreliable for a variety of reasons.

And they say tomorrow, so you should be clear next week

I know mate, it's just the fact that they might very well be targeting these events. I know it's hard hitting that they target gigs and shows, but for one to be targeted with acts which you're going to see within the week, I don't know, it's just sitting funny. For some reason I had it in my head that those types of events would be off the radar. No idea why I thought that, ignorant I suppose, but for whatever reason that's what I thought.

To be honest with an event like that, they're not getting a suicide vest past the body search outside. What is worrying is that due to those body searches the outside queues can get very congregated.

Cunts.

Well, I agree with that. Cunts. They are not me.

It is indeed a quality album.

I'm in Paris now and it's been great. Xmas markets are on and place is buzzing.

There is army walking about the main sights but I think more for show there is nothing anyone can do if a nutcase wants to attack and that applies to anywhere in the world.
