Attendance Facts - MCFC & LFC Comparison

I’m finding some of the comments on my Facebook funny. There are fans saying we can’t fill our stadium then same people are saying we’ve no ambition if we’re extending to 60,000. So many contradictions and inaccuracies. One guy’s even said we only have 60,000 fans. Blimey!
The irony is that most of these morons have never set foot in The Swap or The Victimdrome.

An armchair Rag down the pub also told me that the sheikh buys all thr empty seats personally at inflated prices and that we use the money to pay Haaland an extra salary off thr books.
So, we're putting the money through the books by buying the seats?

Then we're using it to pay Haaland off the books?

I think I *might* just be able to see a flaw in that logic.

This rings true. In the 90s rollercoaster ride we were praised for our support. But we “bought trophies “ so attack our lack of seat fillers from the far east or Oslo. Id rather an empty seat than some Twat from Indonesia on his laptop at Old Trafford.
An inevitabLe result of success is to attract a wider support even more so with sustained success. If we are to challenge at the top table we need the widest support on a world wide basis. If more local fans don’t fill the seats then people from elsewhere will. No reason to denigrate those who live a long way away.
