The beer in the Augustinerkeller is much better, but the Hofbrauhaus is definitely an institution in Munich and well worth a visit if the Oktoberfest isn't on.

Some of us will be in the Augustiner Biergarten on the Tuesday afternoon, from around 15.00, (and then again on Wednesday/Thursday morning/afternoon), but we will almost certainly do the Hofbrauhaus on the Tuesday evening.

Beer and City: the best combination!

Fulham fan in peace. I am traveling to Bremen first to watch Werder Bremen v. Fulham then getting the train down to Munich on Monday morning. I wanted to ask is there any City fans traveling to Munich on the Monday 29th July? Would be good to meet some City fans. I live in Preston now I am originally from London and cant stand United fans there are more in London then in Manchester.

Augustiner Kellar for me and my son from 3ish on the Tuesday. We land around 10am but cant check in to our hotel until 2pm.
Have we any idea how many blues will be there?
Shame we're spread out all over the ground. City finally got an allocation of tickets (50!!) but by then it seems everyone had already got them from Munich.
We're in 128 on the Wednesday and 238 on Thursday
