Do you think Ljajic and Honda will improve you much then? They take the place of Boateng and Muntari/Nocerino?

Yes. yes. Yes.

both are a necessity, and both will likely be signed - Boateng needs to move his ass back into the midfield 3, because he is a joke as a trequartista, and equally as pooched on the wing.

Honda is a superb #10, replaces Boateng there, and Ljajic is a superior winger, he's replaced there.

Boateng does his best playing in the mid 3, galliani and allegri both know it, theyve both said it, now theyll bring in the guys to make it happen

eta: I know Ljajic doesnt sound sexy - but if you watched Fiorentina last season, he did as much, or more damage than Jovetic (not saying he's the better player, but value wise, that's the kind of guy we're talking about)

Re: City v Milan - Audi Cup

Anyone thought about what lineups we are going to go with against AC then 24 hours later against Bayern if we beat AC in the first place. Personally I don't give a toss about the result all I want is the players to get through both games without any more injuries.

I thought this one was a 6.15 uk time KO?

Well of course, and it's pre-season which is even less predictable. Always a chance of losing against good teams, but the current Milan side is not intimidating in any way.

It's definitely not the best Milan team that's been fielded... but still a cohesive unit with two HUGE upgrades over last season in the midfield, in NDJ and Poli.

Montolivo is world class, and flies under the radar ridiculously hard.

It's obviously not where I want Milan to be (and it will be a very different team come end of market), but I kind of like the underdog role.... But like I said, it's not where I want Milan to be

Milan will always be a class team and no top side should ever underestimate them (in a competitive game) friendlies don't really matter too much, having said that I'm really looking forward to this particular game and hopefully if results go the right way the Bayern game too.

I don't think its even open to debate that City currently have the better squad.

Really looking forward to seeing Poli play for Milan - I've rated him for a couple of seasons. Love Montolivo too.

Hope you guys do well in the Champions League if you get through qualifying and try and challenge Juventus for the title.
